Choosing entertainment: here's how it works
Wedding-planning can be a full-time job, and finding the
right entertainment is often the most important challenge.
When planning the entertainment for your wedding or special
event, there are literally thousands of entertainment options
available for you to consider. Frequently our clients have
never planned an event before, and they don't know where to
start.
That's where Hank Agency's expertise comes in handy!
Before you start, we do: Behind the Scenes
We carefully screen each band, DJ and musical act so we
make sure that not only are they musically talented, but that
they are professional, responsible, conscientious and reliable!
Working closely with these musicians day in and day out also
enables us to negotiate the best possible pricing for our
clients and we make every effort to identify ways to save
our clients money whenever possible.
Phase 1: Getting Started
From the very first phone call, our agents will:
- Assess your priorities and to get a feel for your tastes,
style and musical preferences;
- Familiarize ourselves with the demographics of your guest
list, the musical needs of each aspect of the event and
the budgetary requirements you have set for the entertainment;
- Consider the flow of the function from start to finish
- ceremony to cocktails to dinner and dancing. Hank can
cover all your entertainment, which is not just the band
or DJ but also ceremony music, cocktail music, etc.!
Phase 2: Choosing a Band
With that crucial information in hand, our agents will:
- Expertly select a handful of bands that represent exactly
what you are looking for;
- Provide you with complimentary copies of the most up to
date materials our bands have to offer, such as CD's, DVD's,
video footage, song lists, biographies, references and even
dates and places to view the bands at a live performance
or showcase.
Phase 3: Booking the Band
Once we have found you the PERFECT band (and we will!),
we make sure to cover every important detail in contracting
the band's services for you. We will:
- Check availability, do all the negotiating and booking;
- Coordinate the timing of all entertainment and make sure
all your needs and requests have been communicated;
- Draw up all service contracts and make sure all paperwork
and deposits are in order.
Phase 4 : The Homestretch
When your entertainment is booked and contracted for your
date, our job doesn't end there! From start to finish, with
Hank Agency you always know that you have someone in your
corner who cares about you and the success of your wedding!
- We stay in close contact with you and the musicians right
up to the "Big Day" to address any last minute
questions, concerns or jitters.
