Jimmy Hat played at my 10 year college reunion and they were fantastic!  The singer, Danielle, has a beautiful voice, and the band is just so much fun.  They were high energy, had some creative medleys, and played a great set to keep the crowd dancing.   They were also extremely professional; there were a few snafus caused by the venue and the band members not only took it in stride, but were also proactive about finding a way to overcome them and still put on a great show without any of the audience knowing.   I’d definitely recommend them to anyone.

JHat is an absolutely amazing band! For the past two years they have rocked our annual fundraising event, the Run for a Revolution, and every year JHat is at the top of the list of things that people most enjoyed about our fundraiser. They have a keen sense of their audience and aim to please. Their wide repertoire of music appeals to people of all ages and because they are such consummate professionals, we event directors can actually have worry-free fun too! JHat deserves all of the accolades they get and live up to every expectation.

Dear Danielle and JHat,

I'm sorry that I didn't share this with you sooner, but I wanted to be sure you understand how much your band's contributions to our big day meant to us. From the one-on-one phone calls and visits leading up to the wedding to your flexibility with last-minute changes mid-event, your efforts did not go unnoticed. Even though my parents knew you were one of our favorite "bar bands" and feared that they would be stuck with the "loud kid stuff" we crank on the radio, they were thrilled to hear some of their old-time favorites and were especially grateful when you played their own wedding song. On a very special note, thank you for taking the time to find, learn and perform our first dance. I know that it was not easy to interpret and sing a traditional Irish song in the brogue, but it was perhaps the most memorable part of our day. Thank you, too, for allowing our daughter to join you on vocals. Thank you for providing the party we sought while keeping all of our guests, young and old, entertained all night long. We couldn't have asked for more. Any bride and groom would be lucky to have JHat entertain at their wedding! JHat rocks! Please keep in touch!

We can't think of a better way to celebrate raising women out of oppression and into the opportunities that our 5K Run for a Revolution fundraising was able to provide. We were especially impressed with the research you had clearly done about CAMFED and Somaly Mam in order to be truly informed hosts.
